and so you know that's one of the major initiatives that we have in and changing the dynamic that happens in the classroom School District that we recorded in November to tell you about the school district or do to it can maybe you'd like to know more maybe you got a youngster who's already you might want to find out about the many schools of the franklin-mckinley school district and the Cedar and transitional Kinder Open House Event superintendent of the Franklin McKinley School District thanks for joining us so tell us a little bit about what's going on you got some kindergarteners and maybe some almost ready for kindergarten and they sure do learn these days don't they what class do we know how important it is for our children to start off the school ready and so we have been engaged in a lot of early learning and we want sure that our families take the opportunity to learn everything about our transitional Kinder and are Kinder program so that they can decide and which of the schools they have the best it's a we are hosting open houses at all our schools so they can to take tours have a conversation with teachers and principal soda you can make that right decision to get their children started in school in the right spot when do schools are special open house that sort of thing we have open houses at all our schools and they can get the dates can you tell me the schools on our website the purpose of so that they can get a a sense of what our schools have to offer and and how to better prepare their children for school I started school here in fact a few years ago and I can remember my kindergarten I can remember things that I learned in kindergarten and first grade play do you do is so obviously we want them to to start earlier you know if they had an opportunity to go to preschool but also more importantly is in making sure that they're taking the first step to make sure that our students that are qualify for TK they have to turn 5 between September 2nd and December 2nd come in and have an opportunity to start early and be able to get those pills and they're going to make them successful when they transition into Kinder we all want our kids to become successful in it like I said it's a great beginning to get a great school to start out till you got some great schools in the Franklin McKinley School District how many different dates from February I think 3rd on you got some open houses at the various schools and I visited many of these School Santee Ramblewood schools and you want your kid to get strong and healthy come in and see all facilities talk to her teachers talk to her administrators be able to get a sense of all the services that they provide at that particular School in our focus is and how their children if they attend that school can be successful so we want them to make an informed decision about an importance that which is where play children will go to school we have a unique district with very much a focus on ensuring that all our children get a quality education and we need to make sure that start early and we continue that success all the way through you know a squid when they graduate as terrific what we open sorry to all the way through February 9th I believe turn up all the days which school is aware we're hosting them on their website and the franklin-mckinley school district why are Silicon Valley to talk to you again soon promoting high-quality schools may be able to help but South Bay Sunday continues
