Updated COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

Franklin-McKinley School District's (FMSD's) COVID-19 Safety Measures
Based on the California Dept. of Public Health Framework

Since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the District has worked tirelessly to align its COVID-19 Safety Measures with those recommended by:

  • The California Department of Public Health (CDPH)
  • Santa Clara County Public Health Department (SCCPHD)
  • CalOHSA (CalOSHA)

As the nation works towards a “new normal” with COVID-19, the District has once again made significant changes to our COVID Preparedness Plans to remain in alignment with current guidance from CDPH, SCCPHD, and CalOSHA.  The updated guidance has been reviewed and discussed with community members, union members, and administration to ensure the District staff does everything it can to keep staff and students as safe as possible while providing access to a high-quality educational program.

Based on this new guidance, the following documents are linked below to provide crucial information to our community on what FMSD is continuing to implement in response to COVID.

Below are older COVID-19 Safety measures that are no longer required but are included as a historical reference point on what the District has implemented during the height of the pandemic.
