Board of Education Passes New Resolutions During the June 23rd Meeting

Franklin-McKinley School District is committed to helping students obtain a high-quality education that incorporates digital literacy. Click on the Resolution in Support of Digital Access and Inclusion to learn more about the latest on closing the digital divide in Franklin-McKinley. 
 
Franklin-McKinley School District recognizes that the racial and ethnic gaps existing across a variety of important student outcomes in the United States are both disturbingly large and stubbornly and historically persistent. Click on the Resolution related to the Ethnic Studies Adoption Committee to learn more about how Franklin-McKinley recognizes the need and importance for culturally relevant instruction and curriculum for students in regard to diversity, equity inclusion and belonging as well as race, ethnicity, class, privilege, implicit bias and systems of oppression. 
 
As protests surge in our local community and beyond, the Franklin-McKinley School District Board of Education wishes to affirm its commitment to the well-being and safety of Black community members and let them know they are not alone and that our district stands in solidarity with them and their struggle for justice.
