The Educational Services Division is responsible for the overall direction and supervision of instructional services, special education, and psychological services for students in kindergarten through adult education classes. This office oversees the development, implementation, support, and program evaluation of the district’s overall instructional program. Areas of responsibility in this division include coordinating curriculum and staff development: implementing, evaluating, revising and reporting the status of instructional programs (including textbooks and instructional materials) as well as serving as a liaison to local, state, and federal agencies. The Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services interacts with the school sites, other district divisions, and feeder districts to support the implementation of Common Core State Standards, instructional technology tools, and district support systems to insure alignment with the District’s mission.
