Parent Workshops and Support

As we begin the 2020-2021 school year in full distance learning, the Franklin-McKinley School District will be offering workshops and support for parents. We understand that navigating distance learning while managing other competing priorities such as working from home can be challenging for families. The following resources have been provided to support families and their needs during full distance learning.   

Having challenges or technical issues with your child's device? First, please consult with your child's teacher for assistance. If they are unable to assist, they will elevate technical support to the school district. Below, please find some helpful How information:

The Franklin-McKinley School District will be partnering with the Franklin-McKinley Children's Initiative to provide workshops for parents/guardians focused on supporting your children during distance learning. Please see below for a list of workshops:
