Child Nutrition Services

Franklin-McKinley School District offers breakfast, lunch, supper and after-school snack programs which are federally funded. The program is available to all students. For children, the program provides a nutritious meal that contains ⅓ of the Recommended Dietary Allowance necessary nutrients. For parents, the program offers convenient methods of providing a nutritious balanced breakfast and lunch for their children. We would like to hear from you! If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at (408) 283-6007.

What's Cooking?

Stay tuned! This spring, we’ll be hosting our Annual Future Chef Competition — date to be announced.

The goal of this event is to inspire and educate students about healthy eating habits. Too often, we hear about childhood obesity and poor food choices. Through this competition, Child Nutrition Services aims to encourage students to make healthier choices and showcase how delicious, nutritious meals can be — just like the ones we serve every day.
