Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant (LREBG) Reports
The Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant (LREBG) provides funding to county offices of education, school districts, and charter schools to be used for learning recovery initiatives through the 2027-28 school year.
The Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) that receive funds pursuant to California Education Code (EC) Section 32526(b) may expend funds to establish learning recovery initiatives through the 2027-28 school year that, at a minimum, support academic learning recovery and staff and pupil social and emotional well-being. All funds received shall only be expended for purposes specified in EC 32526(c).
LEAs receiving funds pursuant to EC 32526(b), must report interim expenditures of those apportioned funds.
