I am thrilled to be starting my first year teaching at Bridges Academy.  Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a zookeeper at the San Diego Zoo.  I often did education programs for people of all ages at the zoo so that’s where I became interested in switching careers to teaching.   I received my degrees at UC San Diego in biological science so I’m excited to be teaching 7th-grade science at Bridges, which is my favorite grade for science topics.  I’m most looking forward to getting to know my students and my work colleagues to create a collaborative learning environment for all.
