District Advisory Committee

DAC

Purpose

The District Advisory Committee, which acts as the Parent Advisory Committee for the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP),  is comprised mostly of parents, students, staff members and administrators. The primary purpose of DAC is to advise the District on programs and services funded by state and federal funds.

Meeting Schedule

The District Advisory Committee meets virtually five times a year, in the evening, usually around 4:30 to 6:00pm (Times may vary slightly). The meeting schedule for the 2021-2022 School Year is as follows:

Becoming a Member

 

The District Advisory Committee is appointed and is comprised of students, staff, and parents recommended by the following groups:

 

7 teacher representatives

5 classified employee representatives

1 certificated and classified union representative

3 Principal representatives

1 Assistant Principal representative

5 parent representatives

2-5 student representatives

2 community advocate members

1 community-based organization member

1 Board of Education member

Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services

Assistant Superintendent of Business Services

Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

Coordinator of State and Federal Programs & Assessment

Director of Information Technology
 

It is preferred that DAC members serve a two-year term.
