Franklin-McKinley School District offers breakfast, lunch, supper and after school snack programs which are federally funded. The program is available to all children and varies based on income eligibility requirements. For children, the program provides a nutritious meal that contains ⅓ of the Recommended Dietary Allowance necessary nutrients. For parents, the program offers convenient methods of providing a nutritious balanced breakfast and lunch for their children. We would like to hear from you! Franklin-McKinley Child Nutrition Services is comprised of a team of professionals dedicated to our student’s health, well-being, and their ability to learn. Today’s students seek a variety of food choices, diverse menus, and healthy alternatives. Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.
Our menus offer tasty and nutritious choices to help you plan your child’s meals at school. All menu items comply with the USDA standards for school lunch and breakfast which include fresh, local fruits and vegetables every day. All schools also offer garden bars.

The link includes eligibility requirements and the application. All information is made available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. Paper applications are also available at your child’s school in the front office and/or cafeteria.
