Franklin-McKinley School District would like to invite current 5th-8th grade students to submit their favorite healthy Mexican food recipe by March 29, 2019. 

 

A distinguished panel of administrators will evaluate recipe submissions and narrow the number of finalists down to (8) students. Those finalists will be formally invited to a Culinary Competition “Cook-Off” on April 18, 2019. "Cook-Off" will take place at Shirakawa School (665 Wool Creek Drive) from 3:00-5:00pm where students will make their healthy Mexican food recipe for the judging panel under the supervision of a kitchen staff member (To help ensure safety). 

 

All Finalists will receive a framed plaque, recipe book of all finalists’ recipes, chef coat, apron and hat)!
