Santee School students, staff, and Principal Maria Reyes attended Apple's September Product Launch Event on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Santee School is a proud recipient of an Apple ConnectED grant which has provided students and staff with 1:1 iPads and other forms of technology used in the classroom. Through this partnership, Santee students have been exposed to unique opportunities such as this Product Launch to enhance their academic environment. These opportunities are invaluable to students as they explore careers in technology. During the event, students had the opportunity to meet Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc. and U.S. Olympic athletes Kathleen Baker, Michael Johnson, Nathan Adrian and Ryan Murphy.
