Franklin McKinley School District is collaborating this year with an organization from San Jose State University called Nu Alpha Kappa to host a FREE children’s carnival and resource fair called NAKLand. This event will help to connect families with many valuable resources and support programs that can really benefit the well-being of children and families. Come enjoy FREE food, music, prizes and entertainment.
Mission: The purpose of the NAKLand is to promote and foster a positive relationship between the City of San Jose and the San Jose State Greek community. In doing so, we will be able to continue to provide a safe environment for families and students of the university to establish partnerships and provide positive role models to our communities. NAKland is also established to serve our communities by providing families the opportunity to learn about various resources that are available to them in their communities to help meet basic needs and more. Nu Alpha Kappa, alongside other college organizations, also hope to inspire children to seek higher education and to accomplish civil and humanitarian goals they may have for their future.
