Our Mission
Students will achieve and be successful socially, athletically as well as academically. Upon leaving J.W. FAIR MS, all graduating 8th grade students will qualify for Advanced Placement courses at any California high school.
All students are expected to be responsible and respectful ... be responsible for their words and actions and to be respectful to others ... to simply "act right and dress right."
Ms. Beverly Hill
Welcome to Fair Middle School, 2008-2009 School Year.
Administrators and teachers everywhere recognize the important contributions parents make toward a child’s success in school. There is no question about it – success at school begins at home. Parents are the single most important variable in a child’s schooling. Parents model both a silent and spoken language in front of their children daily. They have taught their children values through how they spend their time and money.
One of the most important components of a good school is the partnership between the school and the parents who work together for the best interest of children. A close partnership between home and school is one we value. We encourage you to visit and join one of our advisory committees.
Commitment to the best for our children on the part of parents, students, and staff is key to success with the children we teach. The school and home must continue to work together to build skills and knowledge, reinforce values and develop a strong sense of self worth. We must invest our time and energies in our nation’s most valuable resource – our children. Together we can make a difference.
Sincerely,
Beverly Hill, Principal

Many thanks to former J.W. Fair music teacher Debbie Prieskop who returned recently to assist our new music teacher in tuning and repairing our steel pan drums. Debbie was responsible for the introduction of steel pan drums to Fair students and the Franklin McKinley School District community. They still reign as one of the most popular instruments in the J.W. Fair instrumental music program. We appreciate your contributions and continue to wish you well in your retirement!
