Franklin-McKinley School District employees and eligible dependents have a choice between Anthem Blue Cross (HMO/PPO-HSA) or Kaiser Permanente (Traditional HMO/Deductible HMO).
During the hiring process, employees who are working 0.50 FTE or more are provided a breakdown of monthly premium options. The Human Resources Technicians will assist new hires in submitting all paperwork for medical benefits. Staff who choose to seek their own medical insurance will need to provide proof of coverage to Human Resources within the first 30 days of employment.

Delta Dental Benefits Plan and Vision Services Plan
Franklin-McKinley School District provides Dental and Vision Benefit Plans to all employees who work 0.5 FTE or more. Currently, the Low Dental plan and the Vision plan are 100% paid by the employer for full time employees. The High Dental plan is an optional upgraded plan and it is available to employees with an employee contribution deduction.
